Meet Amanda & Kim – Your New Kids Closet Connection Poconos Owners
Amanda and Kim are two local moms who share a passion for family, community, and bargain shopping. Together, they are thrilled to bring Kids Closet Connection (KCC) to the Poconos, helping families buy and sell gently used children’s items while building connections within the community.
Amanda, originally from New Jersey, is a proud mom of four. A stay-at-home mom and part-time paralegal, she has a sharp eye for bargain hunting and couponing. She lives by the motto “Life is what you make it” and loves finding ways to help families stretch their dollars.
Kim, originally from Western Pennsylvania, is a mom of three with teaching certificates and a heart for working with children in the school setting. She says, “Bringing KCC to the Poconos is very exciting because we want to share our love of bargain shopping with the community. As parents who have watched our children fly through clothes sizes, we want to provide a platform for local parents to buy and sell easily, making it possible to build affordable wardrobes for ever-growing kids.”
Amanda and Kim first met on the baseball field when their sons played on the same team, coached by Kim’s husband. From there, their friendship grew through shared experiences with family, sports, church, and scouts. Both enjoy outdoor adventures, family time, and giving back to the community.
Together, they look forward to growing the Kids Closet Connection – Poconos territory and creating a space where families can save money, make money, and support each other.
