Volunteer Guidelines for Checking in Items

· Make sure all consignors have signed in and initialed by their consignor number and double-checked the percentage taken out from their check and that there consignor fee is correct.

· We only accept spring and summer clothing in the spring, but that does include jeans, pants and long sleeved shirts, just as long as it is not too wintery looking. For fall, fall and winter clothing including short sleeved shirts and tanks, as long as they do not look obviously summery. No shorts.

· Maternity clothing can be any season

· No stained, outdated (more than six years old) clothing. No clothing with broken zippers, missing buttons, etc.

· Only teen (junior girls and young men’s sizes 14-20) clothing.

· Make sure the tag is properly applied on the left shoulder of garment and the hanger hook is facing the left.

· Make sure all tags are securely attached to toys and other table items with heavy packaging tape.

· Make sure all small pieces to toys are secure in a sack or Ziploc bag with heavy tape so there is no chance the bag will come open.

· Toys that require batteries should have batteries and are in working order. This includes baby swings.

· Cribs can be set up or not, but make sure all pieces are included. No drop down cribs will be accepted.

· If a consignor is bringing a car seat, please make sure they fill out a disclaimer form.

· Consignors should hang their own garments and place their table items out.

All volunteers are invited to our "Worker's/Volunteers Presale" which is before the consignors presale on Tuesday, October 5th from 4pm -7pm.
