Helpful Hints for Consignors:

Here is some idea on how to price your items. Remember pricing is subjective and depends on the name brand, quality, and fashion. Here is a guide on how to price typical item:

*Shirts and shorts-$1-$5
*Pants and jeans $3-$6
*2 piece outfit- $6-$10
*3 piece outfit- $8-$14
*Dresses $6-$10

1. *The best rule of thumb is "what would you pay for an item if you were buying it for your child." Price your items to sell or you will likely be picking up or donating a lot of items that could or should have sold.

2. Items that are cleaned, ironed and nicely hung on the hanger will bring more money.

3. Attach any instructions to strollers, high chairs, cribs, toys, etc. This will add value to your item. You can go the manufacturer's web site and download instructions and attach this to your item, even include the original retail price so buyers know what kind of deal they are getting.

4. To make consignor pickup on the last day easier, mark your hangers with spray paint on the neck of the hanger in a bright color, attach a piece of yarn around the hanger, or apply an address label or colored label around the hanger. This will make spotting your items much easier.

5. Allow your items to be sold at 50% off the last day. Consignors seem happier, have far less items to pick up, and receive larger checks if they have discounted their items on the last day.

Consignor Benefits

Consignors receive 70% of the selling price on all items sold! There is a $12.50 advertising and space rental charge deducted from total sales. The fee is waived, however, if you refer a friend and they become a consignor!
You are not required to work the sale. Simply drop off your items during your assigned drop off time and then pick up unsold items on the last day of the sale.
Consignors get to shop for a biggest selection of top quality merchandise before the sale opens to the public at the "consignors’ presale".
Volunteer for as little as four hours before, during, or after the sale and get invited to the "workers presale" which is before the " consignor presale."

How to Consign:

First, complete the online “consignor information form” at the top of this page. This creates your Account Number and registers you for the sale. Be sure to write down your user name, password and account number.
During the registration process, select your drop off time. Drop-offs are scheduled in 30 minute intervals and a drop off takes about 15-30 minutes depending on the number of items you have. You’ll also have an opportunity to sign-up as a volunteer and receive an invitation to the “workers pre-sale.”
Next, create tags for each item you are bringing. Remember, you get to set your own prices and also whether you want to discount them 50% on the last day of the sale. Please be sure you read our "Tagging Instructions" page. This provides important information about how to prepare your items for consignment.
When ready, drop off your items during your assigned time. All items are inspected following strict quality standards. After the items are inspected, hang up your garments and place the other items on tables or in designated areas.
Consignors are invited to shop at the consignor pre-sale the night before the sale. As a consignor, you’ll have access to the biggest and best selection of top quality children's items.
You can check your sales online during the sale by logging into “My Account.” Sales are uploaded each night of the sale by Midnight.
On the last day of the sale, remember to pick up your un-sold items. You also have the option of donating them to charity by marking the tags “donate.” Consignors are responsible for sorting through the leftover items at pick up so please allow sufficient time. Please do not show up before the posted pick-up times or at any time during sale hours
A check representing proceeds will be mailed within 7-10 days after the sale.
