The CPSC states:
Beginning June 28, 2011, all cribs manufactured and sold (including resale) must comply with new and improved federal safety standards. The new rules, which apply to full-size and non full-size cribs, prohibit the manufacture or sale of traditional drop-side rail cribs, strengthen crib slats and mattress supports, improve the quality of hardware and require more rigorous testing. Kid's Closet sales offer sellers (consignors) a convenient, fun and easy way to make money on your children's outgrown items. Our average consignors make $195.00. And we make it easy, after signing up on our website; consignors price their own items using our easy online tagging system. They bring everything to the sale where and place it on the sales floor along with items from other families participating in the sale. After the sale is over, consignors receive a check for 70% of their proceeds even if they are not able to work the sale! Plus, consignors get to shop for a fantastic selection of top quality merchandise for all of their children's needs before the sale opens to the public. What could be simpler?

Volunteers simply work a fun 4 hour shift which earns them entry to our Volunteer PreSale, before even our Consignors! Plus, volunteers shop our special VIP 1/2 price presale. ONLY volunteers shop 1/2 price first! Volunteers meet loads or fabulous moms in your neighborhood, You also have chances to earn gift certificates to the sale just for working extra shifts!
