Communication and community are the keys to Amy Schweer’s successful Kid’s Closet Connection sales. As a sales manager for a publishing company by day, Amy became one of the first franchise owners after shopping and consigning at the earliest Overland Park flagship Kid’s Closet sales.
“I loved the business and the Smitkas who started Kid’s Closet Connection,” Amy says. “It was just a natural fit for my family to host these sales to make some extra money.”
Amy and her husband, Ross, are also civically-minded, and were the first franchise to host holiday sales in December - - which totals three annual sales the Schweers organize.
“We host this sale because we believe it is a great way to give back to the community,” Amy says. “These sales are a great way to score some awesome items for your children or to earn some extra cash when you sell items you no longer need.”
