The Other Guys
Shoppers
Always FREE admission - we never charge mom's just to walk through the door
Some require $2 - just for the privilege of shopping (even if you don't know if you'll buy anything.)
Only consignment event that has a customer loyalty program, which we call Closet Cash. Our customers earn a $5 for every $100 they spend at an event.
No rewards for frequent shopping and no incentive to come back to next season's sale.
Professionally organized and managed - our comprehensive operations manual ensures our reputation for integrity and professionalism
Varies by location and franchise owner.
Sellers
Our proceeds rate of 70% is highest in the industry - giving back more to our consignors helps build your seller base faster.
Their proceeds rate is only 65% - if you were a consignor which would you choose?
Consignors can consign at another event location and avoid paying an additional consignment fee.
Consignors must re-pay their fee for each event - there's no incentive to sell at more than one sale.
We feature a universal inventory and consignor number across all of our events - there's never a need to re-tag. Your inventory and consignor number never changes.
Sellers must obtain a new consignor number for each additional sale so every item must be re-tagged.
Simple one-step tagging all in the comfort of your home. Our inventory management system is simple with no multiple drop-down menus to agonize over. Drop-off is quick because all the tagging is done at home.
One has a multi-step process that requires you to enter information at home and then having you to affix adhesive labels at drop-off. Another has two websites, two logins to remember and many drop down menus to choose from. Both lead to a cumbersome inventory entry and drop-off process
No inventory entry cut-off - consignors can enter inventory right up to their drop-off time. Our experience is that 15-20% of inventory entry is done within 48 hours of drop off.
Inventory entry is cut-off one to two days before the sale. If a seller misses the cut-off, they cannot bring those items to the sale.
Franchisees
Our up-front, inclusive franchise fee is $6,000 for an adjoining territory and $3,500 for a new territory, 1/3 to 1/2 of competitors fees.
Theirs range from $10,500 to $12,900 with no incentive for entering a new territory.
Our franchise fee includes everything: website, support, operations procedures and access to all marketing and promotions materials.
One franchisor requires you to pay extra for using their marketing and promotion portal.
Our name “Kid’s Closet Connection” says who we are and what we do.
Our competitor’s names leave people wondering?
Consignor transfer program builds consignor base quicker.
Nothing to compare
Closet Cash loyalty program brings shoppers back sale after sale.
Nothing to compare
